Heffron Hawks Football Club are based in Matraville, near Maroubra in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and play in the Eastern Suburbs Football Association League (ESFA). Fielding Senior All Age Men teams and All Age Women teams, we’re also very proud of our juniors club.
Heffron Hawks Football Club is run by its players for its players. All the committee members are volunteers and players so they do what they do for the love of the game and the Club.

Once a Hawk. Always a Hawk.
We have a saying: ‘Once a Hawk, always a Hawk’. This is not just a throw away line. It’s heartfelt. We often hear from players of old just how much they enjoyed their time playing in the ‘black and yellow’ and many have returned to playing for the Hawks after a spell elsewhere.
Some ex-players include Sydney FC Chairman Scott Barlow – a tall, stylish player who played centre half for the Hawks in the 2003 ‘Double’ Winning 1st team in ESFA’s then top division. Another famous player (according to legend) is Pablo Cardozo, who was a Heffron Hawks Junior.
